Crafting Club for Orchard School
Clay Paper Scissors Studio, a unique crafting destination in Oradell, NJ, is excited to partner with Orchard Elementary School for an after-school crafting program for grades 2 through 5. Each week we will create and craft a new project from
3 pm - 4:30 pm.
Please note that some projects may take two weeks to finish.
Week 1 Oct. 1st
Bead Making During this workshop students will learn how to make beads out of polymer clay and paper then learn the craft of jewelry making. Each child will go home with at least one piece of jewelry.
Week 2 & 3
Oct. 8th and 15th
Working with Paper Mâché! During this week the students will learn how to use paper mâché as a medium to create unique pieces of art! This project will take two weeks due to drying time. Each child will go home with at least one piece of paper mâché art.
Week 4
Oct. 22nd
Crayon Melting! Crayons BEWARE! During this workshop, we will work with the students to create a canvas masterpiece by melting crayons. They will decide their own unique layout then go to work with hairdryers to melt the crayons. Each student will go home with one piece of art.
Week 5
Oct. 29
DIY SLIME! You have banned it from your house, but your kids are still obsessed? We’ve got you! We will make various slimes including Glow in the Dark and Unicorn slimes. Kids will go home with at least two different kinds of slime from this workshop..
